At the River Wilderness Golf & Country you will discover active men's and ladies golf programs with members of all skill levels. Men's day is every Wednesday and the Men's Golf Association plays one Saturday a month. The Ladies Golf Association plays every Tuesday and a Ladies Nine-Hole Association plays every Thursday. Mixed events are held once a month. In addition, there are both men's and ladies inter-club teams that complete with several of the other prominent clubs in the area.

River Wilderness Golf & Country Club is also the perennial host to the NCAA Central District Women's Invitational Golf Tournament held annually in February. In 2009, for the ninth consecutive year, it will bring in some of the top collegiate women golfers in the country. Many of which who will go to test their skills on the LPGA.
