Gated Communities in Florida

            We always knew that Rivé Isle was a special place. Our dream was to create an island paradise with private golf communities and boating communities like no other. We wanted our Florida waterfront homes to feature estate-sized sites with breathtaking views of nature preserves and the peaceful waters of the Manatee River. To enhance the natural beauty inspired by the majestic moss-hung oaks, we envisioned gently winding cobblestone paths, flowing fountains and classically designed bridges.

It was also important to us that in developing Rivé Isle's private gated communities in Florida, that great care be taken to create uncompromised facilities for living while maintaining the natural environment. We wanted to express good stewardship for the land while enhancing the quality of life for both the residents and the wildlife with which we share this special place.

Hundreds of acres of land, including an adjacent island, had to be protected with conservation easements. Throughout the community, we planned boardwalks and nature trails for property owners to interact with the environment.
We also worked closely with the Audubon Society and its special program for golf courses when designing the River Wilderness golf course. The Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses (ACSP-Golf) ensures that courses are made with efficiency and to have the lowest impact on the natural environment as possible. The River Wilderness golf course at Rivé Isle has even been named among the top golf courses in the state of Florida.
After five years in the making, the dream of Rivé Isle became a reality. We officially opened a Phase 1 community to residents in 2006, and continue to build our communities for additional residents.
